Quick answer
The current official launch date is September 4, 2026. Steam may display September 3 because of its locale and unlock clock, while the US PlayStation Store specifies September 4 at 04:00 UTC.

Verified answer
Capcom first announced September 25, then officially moved launch forward by 21 days to September 4. Older Nintendo, Xbox Wire and PlayStation posts can still show the superseded date, so the current stores and August announcement control.
02
Player-useful details
Steam's September 3 display is not a second launch date: storefront calendars reflect account region and unlock time. The US PlayStation Store is the clearest exact reference at September 4, 04:00 UTC.
03
What to verify in the live game or store
A storefront date can roll over differently by region. Do not convert one store display into a universal schedule.
