Onimusha: Way of the Sword release date
The current official launch date is September 4, 2026. Steam may display September 3 because of its locale and unlock clock, while the US PlayStation Store specifies September 4 at 04:00 UTC.

Demo
Everything in the expanded demo update
The August 25 update expands the playable area, adds Daidara, and grants the Kubi Akari Charm plus a Musashi stat boost in the full game when demo save data is present.

PC system requirements and performance targets
Minimum targets 1080p Low at 30 fps with upscaling: i5-8400 or Ryzen 3 3100, GTX 1660 6 GB or RX 5500 XT 8 GB, 16 GB RAM. Recommended targets 1080p Medium at 60 fps with upscaling: i5-10400 or Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 2060 Super or RX 6600.
Combat
Combat guide: Parry, Deflect, Issen and Oni powers
Confirmed systems include Parry, Deflect, Issen, Break Issen, soul absorption, Oni Armament, Reflex Combo, Oni Strength, Oni Agility and Oni Awakening. Their value depends on enemy attack patterns and the live control scheme.
